Hola Broncos Country!
My name is Michelle and this is my fifth year as a Denver Broncos Cheerleader! I am here in beautiful Playa Del Carmen with my 25 stunning teammates shooting our 2015 calendar! We will be here for the next week enjoying the incredible activities and accommodations of Apple Vacations and Riu Hotels.
Patricia, Christina, Toni, Kendal, and Eboni had their shoots on our first day here at stunning locations around the hotel. Their photos really showcased the beauty of each cheerleader and the local scenery! Yesterday, we spent the entire day at the breathtaking Xcaret Park. Ashley and I started off our day at the hotel with hair and makeup at 2 a.m., followed by Lindsey, Emily G., and Gioia. We were surprised to find custom Broncos robes that were provided to us by our swimwear sponsor Sol!
Then the entire crew was off at 5 a.m. to our location. We started off the shoot with an incredible sunrise shoot in a lagoon with Ashley. I followed Ashley's shoot on the other side of the lagoon, catching the last bit of the sunrise. I was in an electric blue bikini provided by Sol, which I absolutely loved. I think this might be my favorite shot of all my five years and can't wait to see the final product.
Then the rest of the morning we shot Lindsey by a waterfall, Emily G. by a hut, and rookie Gioia with the flamingos. After we finished shooting, we got to explore the absolutely stunning scenery and activities at Xcaret. We swam along an underground river through all the caves in the park for about 45 minutes. While exploring, we saw the jaguars, manatees, sea turtles, dolphins, and parrots. Towards the end of the day, we walked on a tightrope through a small waterway and roamed the entire park. Each location was more breathtaking than the last and the entire crew couldn't stop talking about this once-in-a-lifetime experience.
