Hola Broncos Country! I'm writing to you from the beautiful Riu Palace in Playa Del Carmen. What an incredible experience this calendar trip has been ... not to mention how awesome my photo shoot was! Now that my shoot is over, I can relax and reflect on how blessed I am to be a part of this amazing adventure.

For my photo shoot, all I had to do was lay down and smile for the camera, right? Wrong! There's so much work that goes into that one perfect shot and it all began at 3:00 a.m. We loaded the bus just after 4:00 a.m. and we were whisked off to shoot at the Riu Palace Peninsula in Cancun. When we arrived I had to pinch myself to make sure that I wasn't dreaming. I felt like I had hopped off a bus and stepped right into a postcard. We were fortunate enough to watch Emily M. shoot a breathtaking sunrise shot in the ocean and then we went inside for hair and makeup. Angela, Margaret, Liz, Jana, Emily M. and I all shot at that location. It was such a wonderful feeling getting to support one another.

I felt like royalty getting pampered all day. First, we received our cozy and comfortable Broncos robes from Sol. Then the amazing Janelle made me feel like a mermaid with my hair and I got my makeup done by the infamous Sedrique. I'm no model, but this was hands down my favorite photo shoot! For my shoot, I was lying down on an outdoor day bed, with my feet up on a post ... did I mention how in love I was with my suit from Sol? Our photographer and crew made me feel so comfortable throughout the shoot.

I was completely overjoyed with excitement and emotion when I saw the final product and that one perfect shot. This really is such an amazing opportunity and getting to share it with my very best friends is the icing on the cake! Speaking of cake, I'm off to the dessert buffet to indulge in some well deserved treats ... adios for now, amigos!
