Broncos Win Draws Record Ratings

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. –If you live in the Denver area and were watching television last Sunday afternoon, there was a good chance you were tuned into the Broncos' 52-20 win vs. Philadelphia.

The broadcast on FOX earned a 77 share and 39.8 rating, meaning that 77 percent of televisions that were turned on were tuned to the Broncos-Eagles game.

Both of those figures ranked second among local NFL market figures for Week 4, coming in behind New Orleans, which drew a 61.9 rating and 81 share for its Monday Night matchup against the Miami Dolphins.

The 77 share is the largest figure for a regular-season contest in the Denver market since at least 2002. It is the third-highest overall in that span coming in behind Denver's Divisional-Round loss to Baltimore on Jan. 12, 2013 and the team's Wild-Card win against Pittsburgh on Jan. 8, 2012.

Through four weeks, Denver is averaging a 42.8 rating and 71 share, which represent an 8.9 percent and 7.6 percent increase from the first four weeks of the 2012 season.
