ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — The Broncos have waived long snapper Wes Farnsworth, the team announced Thursday.
Farnsworth, a first-year player, was signed to a futures contract in December. He competed with the Broncos for the first 10 practices of training camp.
Jacob Bobenmoyer is now the only long snapper on the team's roster.
Bobenmoyer, who played at the University of Northern Colorado, would make his first NFL game appearance if he is the team's Week 1 snapper. Casey Kreiter handled the Broncos' snapping duties for all but six games since the start of the 2016 season.
The Broncos' roster is now at 79 players.
