ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — The Denver Broncos have renewed and expanded their partnership with Children's Hospital Colorado to continue supporting the community through child health education and providing world-class experiences for patients, it was announced Wednesday.
Through their long-standing partnership, the Broncos and Children's Colorado have created positive impact through patient visits, volunteerism, exclusive junior reporter opportunities, gameday experiences and more.
As part of this expanded agreement, Children's Colorado will become the only pediatric hospital to be featured on a practice jersey in the NFL, NHL, NBA or MLB. A patch with the Children's Colorado logo will be prominently displayed on the front upper-left side of all Broncos practice jerseys.
The new patches will debut immediately as the team prepares to host Broncos Training Camp powered by Ford this week.
"Children's Colorado has been a valued partner of the Broncos for a decade, and we are thrilled to renew this partnership with such a dynamic organization that shares our deep commitment to serving this community," Broncos President Damani Leech said. "Through this impactful partnership, our organizations will continue to work together in supporting youth health and wellness initiatives throughout Colorado."
This season, Children's Colorado will provide hospital patients with the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be a Broncos Kickoff Kid each Broncos home game. The Kickoff Kid will receive special in-game recognition as they retrieve the tee from the field after kickoffs.
"Continuing Children's Colorado's partnership with the Broncos is so meaningful for our patients, team members and our community," Children's Colorado Vice President of Board and Community Relations Christy Dobson said. "Together, we look forward to creating lifechanging experiences for kids and educating the community on important pediatric-focused health information for years to come."
