Broncos players, fans give Paxton Lynch a warm social-media welcome

The Broncos' trade up for the 26th overall pick allowed them to take a player they really liked in QB Paxton Lynch, and his new teammates took to social media to welcome him to the reigning champs.

As it turned out, it wasn't just Broncos players and fans who sent messages to him. They ranged from Jerry Rice to Vince Carter to the mayor of Denver.

We're thrilled that Paxton Lynch is going to be a Bronco. He fits what we do very well and plays the game with a lot of enthusiasm.
