Broncos Injury Update: Brandon Marshall sidelined; Omar Bolden returns

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. --ILB Brandon Marshall was the only Bronco who was not practicing as the team held a Wednesday night walk-through session to begin preparations for the regular-season finale against San Diego.

Marshall said earlier in the day that his ankle "was good" after it was rolled up on during Monday night's win over the Bengals. He said that the MRI examination he underwent revealed no serious damage.

"I don't know," he said when he was asked about his status for Sunday. "We'll see."

Marshall was sidelined, but safety Omar Bolden was back after missing the last three weeks with a hamstring problem that he aggravated against the Chargers on Dec. 6.

The Broncos have missed him, especially on kickoff and punt returns, where he was flourishing before he succumbed to an injury he first suffered during the preseason.

Bolden and quarterback Peyton Manning headlined a list of five players who were limited that included TE Owen Daniels (knee and shoulder injuries), ILB Todd Daivs (shoulder) and safety T.J. Ward (ankle).

The other seven players on the injury report had full workloads: RB C.J. Anderson (back), OLB Lerentee McCray (hamstring), QB Brock Osweiler (left elbow, left shoulder and rib cage), WR Emmanuel Sanders (ankle), safety Darian Stewart (hamstring), WR Demaryius Thomas (hamstring) and DE Vance Walker (shoulder).
