ENGLEWOOD, Colo. --Quarterback Paxton Lynch and wide receiver Cody Latimer were the only two Broncos ruled out as the Broncos had their typical Friday walk-through practice in advance of Sunday night's game against the New York Giants.
Lynch, who is recovering from a right shoulder injury, had a throwing session on Wednesday, focusing on short, 5-to-7-yard passes. Latimer will miss a second consecutive game because of a knee injury.
In East Rutherford, N.J., the Giants officially ruled out seven players, including five starters: wide receiver Sterling Shepard, running back Paul Perkins, center Weston Richburg, defensive end Olivier Vernon and weakside linebacker Jonathan Casillas. Safety Landon Collins is also listed as questionable because of an ankle injury that sidelined him for all three practices this week.
Despite the injuries -- which are on top of the season-ending injuries to wide receivers Odell Beckham Jr., Brandon Marshall and Dwayne Harris -- Head Coach Vance Joseph said the Broncos' game plan will not change.
"No, it doesn't," Joseph said. "Our game plan is done. Our focus is in the barn, so to speak. Whoever plays on Sunday is not our concern. Our game plan is pretty much done."
