ENGLEWOOD, Colo. —Emmanuel Sanders (ankle), Cody Latimer (thigh) and Zach Kerr (high-ankle sprain) were ruled out for the Broncos' season finale against the Chiefs, Head Coach Vance Joseph announced Friday.
Donald Stephenson was listed as questionable with a finger injury.
Joseph spoke highly of the receivers who have played in the absence of Sanders and Latimer.
"They've done a fine job," Joseph said. "I would first point out Jordan Taylor. He's played at a high level for [Special Teams Coordinator] Brock [Olivo] and for the offense. He's a guy you can count on. That's half the battle when you're a backup player. You have to be a guy that [can] go into the game and do it right for us. That's your first job, is to do it right. And he's done that for us."
If Stephenson is unable to play, Joseph said the team could start either Cyrus Kouandjio or Allen Barbre at right tackle.
"[Kouandjio is] a big man," Joseph said. "He can cover people up. He had seven reps, and it was mostly run game and gap protection. I'm looking forward to seeing him play some more this week."
