Broncos, Briefly: Thursday, Dec. 12, 2019

Just like last week against veteran Houston Texans defensive coordinator Romeo Crennel, Broncos quarterback Drew Lock should expect a steady dose of pressure Sunday in Kansas City.

"I thought John did a phenomenal job, and Vic, of drafting Drew,'' Reid said. "There are some things there that you look at, the quarterback that they had drafted from Memphis (Lynch) and he didn't sit there and hang his head over that. He said, 'Listen, I've got to fix this.' And he did.

Instead of a sea of red, one of the loudest stadiums in the NFL could feature a broad swath of orange, thanks to the Drew Lock Fan Club, a group of friends, family members, former coaches and college teammates from his home state of Missouri.

Broncos safety Kareem Jackson was named AFC Defensive Player of the Week for his one-interception, one-touchdown, 11-tackle performance in last week's win over Houston.

It is the first time a Broncos player has been honored this year.
