DENVER -- The Broncos have announced a three-year contract with CenturyLink Inc. that makes the company an official partner of the Denver Broncos.
"Becoming an official partner of the Denver Broncos connects CenturyLink with Denver's largest and most avid fan base," said Scott Russell, CenturyLink's vice president and general manager for the Denver market. "CenturyLink is helping the Broncos accomplish one of its goals by providing a significant technology enhancement that will positively impact the gameday experience."
CenturyLink will install a new 1 gigabit per second (Gbps) Internet circuit for the Broncos, with bandwidth up to 10 Gbps, at Sports Authority Field at Mile High in Denver. The new circuit, which will provide the Broncos with more than five times their current bandwidth, will deliver ultra-fast Internet traffic that will enhance fans' Wi-Fi experience at games or other events in the stadium.
CenturyLink's sponsorship with the Denver Broncos will include in-stadium signage, gameday promotions, banner ads on DenverBroncos.com and gameday television and radio spots. Additional features of the partnership include VIP events and hospitality opportunities.
"The Denver Broncos are very excited to partner with CenturyLink," said Denver Broncos President and CEO Joe Ellis. "We look forward to utilizing their technology while allowing them to use the Broncos brand to connect with their many customers and employees, so many of whom are passionate fans."
