Broncos Agree to Terms with Lilja

**

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. -- **On Wednesday, the Broncos agreed to terms with one of Peyton Manning's former Colts teammates, center Ryan Lilja.

The free agent had previously announced his retirement after spending the past three seasons in Kansas City. He has started 104 of 111 career games between the Colts and the Chiefs.

Though he primarily played left and right guard during his first eight NFL seasons, he started 12 games at center for the Chiefs last year.

A starter in nine postseason games, including two Super Bowls with the Colts, Lilja has never allowed more than three sacks in a season and was named to the USA Today All-Joe Team in 2010.

The 10th-year pro is the second new center the Broncos have added to the roster since Dan Koppen was lost to an ACL injury, joining Steve Vallos.
