Emmanuel Sanders named to Pro Bowl

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. --Emmanuel Sanders is reaping the benefits of another 1,000-yard receiving season.

The seventh-year wide receiver was named to his second Pro Bowl on Wednesday and will join four other Broncos players in Orlando. Sanders will replace Raiders wide receiver Amari Cooper in the game on Jan. 29.

Cornerbacks Chris Harris Jr. and Aqib Talib, outside linebacker Von Miller and safety Darian Stewart will also represent the Broncos during the battle between the AFC and NFC.

In his third season with the Broncos, Sanders started all 16 games and snagged 79 catches for 1,032 yards and five touchdowns. As he played with first-year starting quarterback Trevor Siemian, Sanders provided a reliable outlet who could also make a big play.

His best performances of the season came against Cincinnati (9 catches, 117 yards, 2 touchdowns), Kansas City (7 catches, 162 yards, 1 touchdown) and Tennessee (11 receptions, 100 yards, 1 touchdown).

Sanders is currently the lone Denver offensive player to be named to this year's Pro Bowl.
